Ran Yan

I’m a cross-media art curator and cultural tourism strategist focused on transforming historic towns and public spaces into contemporary cultural destinations. My work combines theater, live performance, intangible cultural heritage, fashion, and contemporary art exhibitions to create immersive, high-impact experiences that connect culture, technology, and urban regeneration.

My projects include the Yuan Shang Su River VR Metaverse Experience, the Haihun Marquis AR Immersive Tour Guide, and international programs presented through WDCC, London Design Week, Aranya Theater Festival, and exhibitions across Berlin and Paris. In 2022, I received the Marcus Boudier Trophy and the Royal College of Art Helen Hamlyn Design Award for work exploring art-driven community impact and cultural innovation.
